Community work is, I’ve realized, a little like getting ketchup out of a glass bottle. You’re working away, trying to break things loose, waiting…full of anticipation (cue classic commercial jingle) for things to break loose. Then suddenly they do, and you’re busier than a Sonic carhop on a summer Saturday night.

We are in the little-kid-is-about-to-get-ketchup-in-his-eye phase of our pilot community work. We are so close to having all the signed MOUs returned. I had hoped to be sharing the names of those communities with you this week, but we’ll have to let the anticipation build just a little longer.

In the meantime, we are excited to share that the list of schools who want to work with us and ZEN on our solar project is growing – over 15 to date with more schools being added weekly. ZEN is ramping up its efforts – making presentations to school boards, securing project financing, and planning the installations. We are thrilled to be part of this “everybody wins” project!

I am also thrilled that I solved that nagging daily question of what to have for dinner – pretty sure it’s hamburgers and fries 😉

With anticipation,

Jody
